The morning of the first day of the Integrated-ENT and Maxillofacial course will be dedicated to introducing the participant to the most common occlusal splints used for the treatment of craniomandibular disorders. The role of the palate will be analyzed and some manual therapy techniques dedicated to this sensitive area of the mouth will be illustrated.

In the afternoon, signs and symptoms of the ENT sphere in patients with temporomandibular disorder will be explored in depth, through simple, practical and effective therapeutic and evaluation exercises. From the components of facial growth, to the relationships of the ATM with the hyoid bone and how the voice or swallowing “works”, for which a broad (and always described in the literature) anthology of myofunctional therapeutic techniques will be offered.
The day will end with an in-depth look at tinnitus, in particular those of the somatosensory and temporomandibular subtype, how to recognize them and the rehabilitation approach.

From the morning of the second day, the most frequently encountered maxillofacial surgery techniques in the craniomandibular field will be illustrated. The participant will be able to expand his knowledge in the field of traumatic, oncological and orthognathic maxillofacial surgery. He will also be able to learn the rehabilitation protocols and techniques required in each situation.

The afternoon will end with an in-depth look at the facial nerve, the problems that can lead to paralysis and more classic but also more innovative rehabilitation techniques will be introduced, such as the use of emotions for a faster recovery and recovery.
